Rev. David Jost is pastor of St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Hainesport, N.J. A graduate of Gettysburg College, as a music education major, his first ten years of professional life were spent as a junior/senior high school music teacher, directing three choirs and two bands. In 1985, he "retired" from teaching and entered Gettysburg Seminary.  Upon graduation, Pastor Jost was called to serve Zion Lutheran Church in Enola, PA. Five years later, he was called to serve as senior pastor at St. Paul's. The pastor serves as the Mission Cluster Counselor of the Burlington Cluster Mission, as well as the Dean of the Cluster Counselors on the Synod level. He is a member of the Synod Council and Evangelism Team. He and his wife Sandra, parents of  three adult children, celebrate their thirtieth wedding anniversary this year.
